Mama’s Fish House Maui Review: Is it Worth it?
Absolutely! Here’s our review of Mama’s Fish House, exploring whether it’s truly worth a visit. We weren’t planning to visit Mama’s Fish House in Paia on Maui back in May of 2021 because of all the reviews we saw saying it was expensive and not worth the money, but I’m so glad we decided to give it a try.Â
We are not foodies and tend to eat at less expensive restaurants. In the case of Mama’s, a family-owned restaurant, we decided that for our 29th wedding anniversary, we would splurge and are so glad we did.
We have been back to Maui six times since then, and Mama’s experience is one of the highlights of our trips to Maui and has become our favorite place to dine on Maui. The food, including fresh fish, service, and view, is excellent.
Whether you have a special occasion like we did on our first visit or just want to enjoy a fabulous meal for a perfect ending to the day, Mama’s Fish House delivers.

Exceptional Food; Outstanding Service.
We had lunch here earlier this week. This is our 2nd time visiting this restaurant. This is by far the best restaurant we have eaten at on any of the Hawaiian islands. The food is exceptional and EVERY dish explodes with incredible flavor. The service is outstanding. The value for what you pay for is top-notch. Make your reservations very early as the popularity of this dining spot makes availability a real challenge as you get closer to your desired date. We booked 6 months in advance to get the time and date we wanted. We did not want to run the risk of missing out.
