Outrigger Kaanapali Beach Resort: Review, Dining, Amenities
Outrigger took over this hotel 2 years ago, and it is now called OUTRIGGER Kaanapali Beach Resort instead of the Kaanapali Beach Hotel. The biggest change from the name is that the restaurant is now Maui Brewing Co., not Huihui, and the pool snack bar has also changed its name.
Outrigger Kaanapali Beach Resort, located on the west shore of Maui, offers a one-of-a-kind experience that you won’t find anywhere else. This hotel is called “Hawaii’s Most Hawaiian Hotel” for very good reasons: the stunning ocean views, incredible cultural programming and activities for the entire family, and other amenities all contribute to making this location truly special.
But what makes it even more memorable is their lei ceremony at checkout; guests receive an authentic kukui nut lei as they’re warmly welcomed back as family!
The Kaanapali Beach Resort is also known for its charming rooms, which offer a nostalgic Hawaiian feel. All of the rooms come with a private lanai (balcony) that offers more privacy than other rooms in the area. In addition, guests can enjoy free hula shows, ukulele lessons and language classes, garden walks, and a nightly torch-lighting ceremony.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Whaler’s Village, where you can find plenty of shopping and dining options to choose from. Whether you are looking for a relaxing retreat or an ultimate Maui vacation experience, Outrigger Kaanapali Beach Resort has something for everyone. So come and experience the best of Hawaii at Kaanapali Beach Resort!
