Located at Oosterdok 2, 1011 VX Amsterdam, it’s easily accessible by public transportation or on foot. If you’re taking public transit, you can take tram lines 11 and 13 to the “Nieuwmarkt” stop or metro line 52 to the “Waterlooplein” stop. From there, it’s just a short walk to the museum.
If you prefer walking, NEMO is only a 15-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. Simply exit the station from the main entrance and head towards Damrak Street. From there, follow the signs leading to ‘Centrum’ and you’ll soon reach the Oosterdok area where NEMO is located.

My Experience with the NEMO Science Museum
Visiting the NEMO Science Museum was an eye-opening experience for me. The first thing that impressed me was the view from the top of the building – the modern architecture is so unique and aesthetically pleasing, I couldn’t help but take out my phone for a few shots.
The cafe inside was such a great surprise too! Not only were there a variety of yummy food choices, but their selection of freshly brewed coffee had me coming back for more throughout my visit.
What made my experience even more memorable was participating in some of their interactive activities. From experiments to interactive displays, I learned so much about science in an enjoyable way.
