Headphones

Beats flex Wireless Earbuds are my favorite and you can often catch them on sale on Amazon. I like these because they have a long battery life (12 hours) and with the magnetic closure they stay secure around your neck and don’t easily fall off. Also, I can connect two of these through Bluetooth so that my husband can listen/watch something with me.

Travel (or Neck) Pillow

I like the Cabeau Cooling version better than the typical ones you see because it gives greater support to my neck when I nod off in a seated position. With the cooling feature, it isn’t as hot as the other ones.

Phone/Tablet Stand

Charging cords or Power Banks

For phones and tablets and other electronic devices, most larger planes have USB plugins or stand and electric plugins. For smaller planes or shorter flights, you may not have access to these so Power Banks are great to have. Power Banks are great if you have long layovers or may not have access to charging resources. I usually carry a combination wall charger/power bank with me. It allows me to charge if I have access to an electrical plug or if I don’t. The one I have isn’t available anymore but it’s a lot like this one.

I also have a small one like this that I like to carry with me when I’m out and about on a trip. GPS drains my phone pretty quickly sometimes.

For charging cords I recommend getting one that has multiple connectors. These are very useful to charge all of your electronic devices from phones, tablets, headphones, cameras, etc.

Eyemask and earplugs

If you want to sleep on a plane I highly recommend taking an eye mask or sleep mask and earplugs. These can be from simple to an all-in-one that includes Bluetooth connectivity. For a simple mask that blocks the light, I recommend these eye masks. They are light and comfortable. If you want a mask that includes wireless Bluetooth headphones, this one works great!

If you need earplugs that are something simple to block the noise, these will do the job. You will thank me when the person next to you starts snoring or a baby is crying.
